William’s Pride is an early, attractive dark red apple with flesh that is crisp, very juicy and slightly spicy. The mature fruit hangs well on the tree and will retain its quality very several weeks to allow for flexibility in picking. If left on the tree, the colour and flavour of the fruit will intensify. One of our favourite August apples. Tree is cold hardy to zone 3-4 and is somewhat self-fertile but better crops will result with another variety of apple close by for cross-pollination. We graft all our Williams Pride to give a dwarf-sized, easier to pick tree of about 3 meters.
