In 2019 we are offering this new blueberry variety called SWEETHEART. Its fruit gets the highest rating of all of our varieties...most importantly is the delicious,very sweet berries that score top mark for flavour. Sweetheart is an early maturing variety with excellent hardiness and highest productivity. Bushes are vigorous, 1.5 meters tall at maturity and are very easy to pick. Sweetheart is self-pollinating so can be planted alone..... while most blueberry varieties will only produce a full crop with another variety around for cross-pollination. Good choice for organic production as is one of the most disease resistant varieties known thus far.
