NAPOLEON or RAINIER are both delicious yellow-skinned heritage cherry varieties. Napoleon and Rainier have deliciously sweet and crisp yellow-white flesh. An excellent cherry for eating fresh that also keeps for a long time in fridge. Tree is hardy to Zone 4    ( -30 C) and stays a small tree of about 4 metres or 12 ft. Fruit is ready to pick in late July when it turns yellow....but remember cherries must be protected from hungry birds with netting! Plant Napoleon or Rainier with another variety of black sweet cherry for cross pollination and full crop of cherries.
