The best tasting blueberries are the lowbush varieties as they are just selections from wild blueberries. Brunswick is a Nova Scotia selection that produces a sweet, dark purple berry with that intense wild blueberry taste. Brunswick makes an excellent dense, edible ground cover(1 ft) for permaculture and agroforestry projects. They make great rock garden plants and adapt well  to container growing. Their crimson red leaves in fall are awesome. We offer a second  variety, Blomidon or Top Hat for pollinating the Brunswick. Both have the same wild blueberry taste and growth habits.These two blueberry varieties are the hardiest cultivated varieties that exist and can easily take -40 C winters.( Zone 2 or -40C)
