Our Purple Star is a large, purple, super delicious plum with very sweet and juicy flesh. Has never shown any black knot disease like most of our other blue plums(Mt Royal, Italian, Damson). This new variety of plum grew from a plum pit and but DOES NOT get black knot like our other European plums do. Only a few trees available in spring 2026 

Self-fertile and hardy to -35 C or Zone 3
