Our Purple Star plum is super delicious with its sweet and juicy yellow flesh. Never gets black knot disease like most other blue plums and has show total resistance to this disease on our farm for over the past 40 years. This new variety of plum grew from a European plum pit and looks like the famous Damson plum but DOES NOT get black knot like our Damson plums do. Only a few self rooted trees available 

Self-fertile and hardy to -35 C or Zone 3
