Niwot is the newly released black raspberry that produces 2 crops each year.... an early crop on over-wintered canes and a fall crop on newly grown summer canes or primocanes. Niwot produces large sweet berries earlier than other black raspberries in spring and then starts producing on the new summer canes in August.

NIWOT does not sucker and will grow in shade or sun. The long picking period and good berry storage makes  for good commercial potential as well as super easy backyard fruit for family. NIWOT black raspberries fruit are rarely available in Canada.
