This unique apricot has a beautiful golden skin with flavourful sweet flesh. Because the seed(or kernel) of this apricot is edible with almond flavour it is said to be an apricot x almond cross or ALPRICOT.  This apricot almond cross is recommended for areas that experience late spring frosts and colder winter weather than where most apricot and almonds are now presently grown(California)
