Pink Lemonade lemon trees have beautiful variegated foliage and pink blossoms so can really make a room come alive with colour and fragrance during the sombre winter months The lemons have a distinctive yellow striped skin and delicious pink flesh. These pink lemons have very few seeds and were once used to make the original pink-lemonade....now artificial red colouring is used. 

Although they resemble a typical lemon, the Ponderosa is much larger (they can reach up to 3 pounds per fruit!). They are intensely flavoured and very " lemony" making them excellent for juicing and cooking. The abundant Ponderosa lemon skin will provide lots of  "lemon zest"  for muffins, limoncello, etc It is important to prune plants in order to encourage strong branches that will be able to support the heavy fruit
